Allotment site

Most allotment sites have waiting lists. If you apply, you may not get a plot straight away. If we cannot give you a plot, you can ask for you name to be added to a waiting list.

Before you start

Make sure you have the time to take care of a plot. A well-maintained plot of 5 rods or 125 square metres will take around four hours care each week, more in some months, less in others. An available plot may have been neglected, so may take more time and physical effort to bring back to the standard needed.

Consider your travelling time, ease of access and any equipment or supplies you need to transport.

Contact the association or site manager if you want to visit a site before applying for an allotment. Contact details can be found in the allotment site listings.

All plot holders will be asked to follow the allotment rules.

You will need

  • The names of the sites you are interested in
  • Your contact details.

What happens next

If you have asked to be added to the waiting list, we will do this. We will contact you when a plot becomes available.

Please let us know if your contact details change or if you want to be removed from the allotment waiting list.

This form should take approximately ten minutes to complete.
