New resident permit

If you live in a controlled parking zone (CPZ) you can apply for a parking permit to park near your home.

Before you start

You will be taken to our online parking system, where you will need to register or log in to your parking account.

You must be able to prove that you live within one of Ealing's CPZs, before you can get a resident’s permit.

Some homes within a CPZ fall within a low-car housing scheme (LCHS). This means the residents do not have the right to get a permit.

There is no limit to the number of permits registered at the same address. But the amount you pay increases with the number of vehicles in a household, due to our additional vehicle surcharge. Each owner or keeper must have their own parking account.

Please make sure you enter the correct registration number. For example, entering ‘RNO4BJE’ is not the same as entering ‘RN04BJE’ (the letters ‘O’ and ‘I’ are commonly confused with the numbers ‘0’ and ‘1’). The wrong details may result in a penalty charge notice being issued, so it’s important to get this right.

Be sure to select the correct address. If you are unable to find your address, don’t select one that is close by. This may result in your permit application being rejected. Just scroll through all the options in our dropdown list. If you live in a zone and your property is not part of the LCHS and cannot find your address, let us know by emailing parkingservices@ealing.gov.uk or phoning 020 8825 6677 (option 5 then 3).

You will need

  • Registration number, colour, make and model of vehicle
  • Vehicle registration document (V5C), sometimes called a log book
  • Proof of address, dated within the last three months.
  • Credit or debit card.

What happens next

We will send you an email once you have applied and paid for your permit. You will be able to park in your controlled parking zone from the start date of your permit.

Permits are virtual (paperless), so you do not need to display anything in your vehicle.

This form should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
